Night Hawk 2

Monocoque construction to help achieve higher speeds, offer more comfort, and still grant less weight. With its ultralight carbon fiber frame, the Night Hawk is setting new standards. The perfect blend of lightness, rigidity and comfort is possible, because of the monocoque construction method that is appropriate for the fiber. That means that the pedaling force can be transmitted even more effectively to the road, while riding comfort is dramatically increased at the same time. The benefits of the lower weight become apparent as soon as you conquer your first climb. The filigree design draws more attention to the seat stays within the whole of the Night Hawk frame concept. That serves an additional purpose: Because of its accurately attuned flexibility, they effectively absorb vibrations and small hits and thereby noticeably improve riding comfort. Because of their special design, the Shimano Direct Mount brakes do not only offer a more effective transfer of the applied brake force, they also make accurate modulation possible. Initially, one will not find the brake housing on the rear assembly of the Night Hawk, but there are not only optical reasons for the "hidden" mounting on the chainstays. We have beefed up rigidity in this area so vibrations from braking can be kept to a minimum. The tapered headtube with its semi-integrated ball bearings ensures maximum safety when steering. Because we are using the Tapered steerer tube not only steering stability is enhanced, but the driving forces and vibrations can also be better diverted to the frame through the downwardly widened shaft. The Night Hawk 2 comes standard with a lightweight and durable Mavic Aksium wheelset. For components this build is laced with a Shimano Ultegra groupset, known for their performance and reliability. Check out how the Night Hawk surpasses all the demands of a modern bike at a remarkable price point

11-Speed Drive Train
The 11-speed drive train is used in both Road and MTB models. The cassette has 11 gears instead of 10 gears. This new 11-speed cassette has proved to improve efficiency and ultimately power thanks to its greater selection of gears
The frame is made of high-end carbon-fiber reinforced plastic. This material has a higher weight-specific strength and stiffness as compared to other materials. Carbon allows a more precise alignment of the construction that suits a rider's need
Press Fit
Press Fit bearings are pressed directly into the frame, rather than screwed. The press-fit inner bearing guarantees higher bicycle stiffness, thus increasing the lifespan of the bearings and overall lower weight
Tapered Steerer
This is semi-integrated headset with an inner diameter of 1 1/8 inch at the top and 1 1/2 inch at the bottom. This ensures best riding stability and excellent control head stiffness. The biggest shaft results in stiffer fork and frame as riding forces are spread more evenly thanks to a thicker head tube
Internal Cable Routing
Internally routed shifting and braking lines ensure a clean and elegant look while ensuring a better protection to all important cables

This took my roommate and me 13 minutes to assemble from box to ride. For the price, there seems to be no competition. The bike is well engineered, has high-quality components, and is fasttt. Yesterday I was in a gran fondo, and on the downhill sections (where we weren't pedaling) I found myself magically going faster than the person next to me...
