Description

Grinder 1

The Grinder 1 is a mixed breed of an endurance road bike and an off-road machine. Its wider tires enable it to easily maneuver through unpaved country roads, forest, and field paths. The Grinder series are gravel bikes designed around an endurance based geometry that can fly down roads less traveled. The Grinder 1 has a frame constructed of a 7005 double butted aluminum, shedding weight where it is not necessary. A carbon fork is attached to decrease weight and offer a more responsive ride. Internal cable routing is used on the Grinder frames helping prevent grime build up and corrosion the cables. A full Shimano 105 groupset is equipped including hydraulic disc brakes to improve brake response under any weather conditions. The Grinder series are ideal for anything from offroad venturing to all weather commuting.

11-Speed Drive Train
The 11-speed drive train is used in both Road and MTB models. The cassette has 11 gears instead of 10 gears. This new 11-speed cassette has proved to improve efficiency and ultimately power thanks to its greater selection of gears
Double Butted
As the frame's tube is shaped, extra material is allowed internally at each end of the tube. By increasing these areas of the tube, the overall tube wall thickness can be reduced, thus saving weight
Press Fit
Press Fit bearings are pressed directly into the frame, rather than screwed. The press-fit inner bearing guarantees higher bicycle stiffness, thus increasing the lifespan of the bearings and overall lower weight
Thru-Axle
The main advantages of this axle system are stiffness and strength, which added together results in a safer bicycle. It has a clear advantage on disc brakes over its traditional quick release counterpart as it allows for easier and more precise wheel mount/dismount operation
Internal Cable Routing
Internally routed shifting and braking lines ensure a clean and elegant look while ensuring a better protection to all important cables
