BULLS Reveals Its New 2020 Ebikes at an Exclusive Dealer Event

The absence of Interbike this year left a gap for BULLS and many other companies in terms of media coverage and connection with potential and existing dealers and partners throughout the industry. At the same time it also opened up a floodgate of potential given the time and resources left in its absence. So, BULLS Bikes USA and Pegasus decided to take a crack at inviting some media and the top 25 dealers out to SoCal for our inaugural dealer event and new product demonstration.

The feedback we received on the new models was better than we had hoped for. Each new model is like a new kid and even as we think they're great, we hope everyone else will too. The response to these new kids was tremendous. While the technology we've developed and are continuing to lead the industry in- bigger batteries, Monkey Link and integration of four industry-leading motors- was certainly front and center, the potentially even bigger story is the broadening of rider use cases, like Heavy Duty, Adventure and E-Road.

Some of these pioneer models dealers got really excited about were the Adventure EVO AM (E-Adventure) and the Copperhead EVO HD (Heavy Duty), both with Bosch's Gen4 CX motor and 625Wh battery. The Adventure also boasts a second 500Wh Powerpack battery on the underside of the top tube. The Copperhead is a hardtail eMTB geared toward larger riders with a weight limit of 330 lbs and will come in diamond and wave frames.

The Bosch Gen4 Speed equipped Desert Falcon EVO and Fazua powered Alpine Hawk EVO and Grinder EVO Lite are the beachhead of our brand new E-Road category. These models will cater to the growing, aging population of road enthusiasts that spiked in the 90s and early 2000s and are now looking to stay with their group rides or keep up with their partners on beautifully integrated road steeds. Toby Hill, the new Editor of Cycle Volta, wrote a great synopsis of the products here

Attendees enjoyed demoing these new models on and around Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve, an openly eBike friendly multi-use trail with rangers who welcomed us with open arms. We also enjoyed a ride to the beach near Carlsbad CA, taking in the view and riding to get a cup of coffee from a local boutique coffeehouse.

In addition to some stellar new rides, we got to hear from our motor and service/warranty suppliers, Bosch, Brose, Shimano, and Fazua (represented by QBP). This was a huge benefit for dealers to be able to meet face to face with them, ask and get answers to their tech and service related questions.
